ATTENTIVE TEA SESSION

I believe every reason is good because every time we drink tea, we do something good for ourselves. Sometimes we don’t even realize it. This guide will help you enjoy drinking your infusion in a very conscious and attentive way. I hope it will be a special experience for you. You will be able to appreciate the taste and aroma of the drink even more and feel gratitude for the moment spent alone with it.

  1. TEA SELECTION
Consider your preferences: Flavor: Do you prefer teas that are more mild or intense? Perhaps you prefer herbal, fruity, black, green, or white teas? Aroma: Do you prefer teas with an intense aroma or more delicate ones? Health benefits: Are you interested in teas rich in antioxidants, such as green tea, or perhaps in relaxing ones, such as herbal teas?
  2. PREPARATION OF UTENSILS
    Kettle
Clean the kettle: Make sure the kettle is clean, free from residues or odors from previous uses. Fill with water: Pour fresh, cold water into the kettle. Remember that different types of tea require different water temperatures. Brewing vessel
Choose the appropriate vessel: If you’re using tea bags, a mug will suffice. If you’re steeping tea leaves, use a teapot, a kettle, or a special brewing pitcher.
  3. BREWING TEA
Water temperature Adjust the water temperature. Below you’ll find some guidelines: Black teas: Approximately 90-95°C Green teas: Approximately 75-85°C White teas: Approximately 70-80°C Herbal teas: Approximately 95°C Oolong teas: Approximately 85-90°C
    Measuring the amount of tea
Adjust the quantity: Depending on preference, use a specific amount of tea per cup or pot. Typically, the recommended amount is 1 teaspoon of tea per cup (about 250 ml of water).
    Steeping
Place the appropriate amount of tea in the teapot or brewing pitcher. Pour the tea with the appropriate amount of water, considering the temperature.
Steeping time: The steeping time also depends on the type of tea. Here are some general guidelines: Black teas: 3-5 minutes Green teas: 2-3 minutes White teas: 4-5 minutes Herbal teas: 5-7 minutes Oolong teas: 4-7 minutes
  4. SERVING
After the specified steeping time, remove the tea bag or pour the tea into cups. Optionally, add lemon, honey, sugar, or milk according to taste. Relaxation and enjoyment
Sit down, relax. Appreciate the aroma of your tea. Focus on each sip. Each time, consider the temperature of the liquid and its flavor. You can take longer breaks to reflect. When you have finished your tea, take another minute to reflect on this practice.
Finally, thank yourself for this time.
